ONOSCELES

(Oh-NOS-ah-clees)
The onosc?les is a vampiric creature from the Greek islands that is described as looking like a beautiful woman with one leg ending in a mulelike hoof (see GREEK VAMPIRES). It lures men into secluded places so that it can attack them and consume their blood, flesh, and sperm. It lives near the water and has the ability to shape-shift into water. The onosc?les is repelled by the root of a plant whose name has been lost to history.
